TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that range is solid.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That should make the platform set once it is live.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

This is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.

Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.

Safety

Now, the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. But inform how you think about it.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works depends on you.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You put money in, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
